AACTE is the professional organization for Alaskan career & technical education (CTE) teachers and anyone interested in promoting and strengthening CTE programs in our state.

AACTE's goals in brief . . .

• To serve as a unifying agency for all those persons interested in career & technical education
• To serve as a central coordinating organization for keeping citizens of Alaska, including state and national legislators, clearly & reliably informed about career & technical education
• To render service to local communities in stabilizing, extending, articulating, and promoting career & technical education
• To encourage professionalism and professional growth among career & technical educators
